Fernando Camacho has been elected chair of the CEOS LPV subgroup

Fernando Camacho is the chair of the CEOS Land Product Validation (LPV) subgroup since January 2019. The mission of the CEOS LPV group is to coordinate the quantitative validation of satellite-derived products. The focus lies on standardized intercomparison and validation across products from different satellite, algorithms, and agency sources.
